He said this value is the maximum insurance coverage value, and not the premium paid by foreign tourists.

“Tourists must have health insurance to come to Bali whose value reaches Rp. 1 billion. The government has set two health insurance premiums for foreign tourists, namely health insurance with a premium of Rp 800,000 and Rp 1 million," said Sandiaga in the Weekly Press Briefing, Monday (18/10/2021). Sandiaga said this premium has a maximum dependent value of IDR 1.6 billion – IDR 2 billion with a validity period of 30-60 days. "So if foreign tourists do not have insurance in their country of origin, they can buy insurance when they arrive in Indonesia," he said.

Sandiaga also explained, regarding the lack of regular flights from 19 countries at Bali's I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport, it could be because foreign tourists need more time to prepare various travel documents. “For charter flights, there are people who communicate directly with us from Russia and Ukraine.

Then regarding life on board (LOB) for five days, we have coordinated with the association, tourists feel no objection to that. However, at this time we are continuing to coordinate to further ensure it, "said Menparekraf. Regarding quarantine hotels that can accept regular guests, Sandiaga allows this, accompanied by a number of requirements.

One of them, the hotel has a monitoring system and good flow, so that quarantine and non-quarantine tourists are not in the same area. “Activities for quarantined tourists and regular hotel guests must also be separated, the hotel consists of several buildings (wings).
